The ego is a fierce beast that moves everything, absolutely everything.
The hero needs it to exalt himself, THE RELIGIOUS PERSON is such TO GAIN FOLLOWERS, bringing money and power, because they are not interested in the true God.
THE POLITICIAN THINKS OF NOTHING ELSE BUT HIS OWN INTERESTS, because the people matter little.
The child does it to prove himself, for without the ego, a being is nothing—it is present in every action, every meal, and every daily necessity, knowing that without it, he would die of hunger.
Some have such a strong ego that they push it without limits, OTHERS PUSH IT JUST TO SURVIVE, but IT IS ALWAYS ABOUT SELFISHNESS.
The rich or ultra-rich are so because they have forced their ego to the maximum, as if they were driving a powerful sports car and pressing the accelerator to the limit.
The lover places his ego among his trophies and pleasures, while the loved one puts it among the obstacles in the wheels.
