Dear friends, together with you I would like to reflect on this wonderful painting entitled The Creation of Adam<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see, God comes to judge mankind.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His face is nothing short of furious, together with His angels, whose faces are likewise darkened.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under His arm is a woman: some call her Eve, others the Church, others Wisdom. Yes, she is the same person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She embodies Wisdom and, not by chance, she is one with God. Indeed, God comes to judge mankind.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And how does He find him?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look carefully at Adam. He stands before God, before His judgment, yet behaves as if nothing were happening. He looks at Him with nonchalance, as though He were an ordinary person. He is all body and very little mind\u2014nothing but muscles and no brain.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observe his face: it is that of an immature young boy, as his genitals confirm. His left leg is bent and conceals his foot.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is as though he were saying to God: \u201cI do not want You to know what sinister things I have done in my life.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if God did not already know. He knows how many hairs we have on our heads. Let us continue.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observe the inner thigh muscle aductor, how swollen and protruding it is. It represents lust. Yes, this creature is the emblem, the mirror of our society: adulterous and lustful.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observe the right leg, with its bunion. It signifies: \u201che wanders across the planet in a deluded state.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observe the right arm: the upper part appears almost wooden, yet the hand is so disproportionate that it signifies that, throughout his life, he has only taken.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if to say: \u201cI have no duties; I have only rights.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this too is a mirror of our corrupt society.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I leave the rest to you: observe, think, meditate.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you can, change your life for the better, because God does not joke. I know something about that.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if you are wise and sensible enough to change what is wrong in your life, God will reward you tenfold, even with earthly goods.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This too I can testify to.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
